Dani had a troubled past and felt that she was broken with a family that she couldn't count on. She needed to escape and college was the best form of escape for her across the country. Whilst at college feeling like an outsider she found herself a part-time job with a boss who would become a father figure to her more than she had ever had in her life before. With one chance meeting with what would later be the love of her life, Dani had to learn how to let down the walls that were erected due to her turbulent past in order for her to be truly happy with Cam.
Cam felt cheated upon his first meeting which then leads him to pursue Dani. Cam soon learnt that in order to follow his heart he would have to be patient to allow Dani to open up and let him in.
I really couldn't put this book down from start to finish I was captivated and enthralled throughout Cara has done a fantastic job, I'm looking forward to reading more of her work.

On starting this book I didn't know what to expect but was gripped into the story from the very beginning Dani has a troubled past that has left her with many scars and insecurities, so much so she doubts every single move she makes even when meeting Cam.
She pushes him away but Cam is patient and allows Dani the space she needs to slowly let down her walls and let him in. their story takes on many different twists but the sincerity in the words spoken from both Dani and Cam are absolutely beautiful. This story was truly a wonderful read and I would urge anyone to read this book. It has made me look at the way we view ourselves and the way we as humans bottle everything up.
Thank you for allowing me to read this book, Cara. I loved every second and can't wait to read more.
