This is the first book in the series that I have read and I enjoyed it overall.
Ashes follow Casey, Vail, Shaw and Lee and for those that aren't sure it is and Reverse Harem. These Characters are soo broken in many ways they sort of make each other complete. There is plenty of steam within this book and you can feel yourself wanting this dynamic to work out as they draw you into the story.
The story itself was a good read but felt far too long in many places. the characters themselves were good and kept you wanting to know more. However, the story that they were all embroiled in became confusing in places as there was soo much going on with soo many different scenarios happening with them that at one point I felt completely lost. However, I finished the book and enjoyed it and would not let this stop me from reading more of Dylan's work.
