This book follows Liam and Macy. Both have their own issues to overcome but this was a really lovely read.
Liam is a billionaire who moved to LA and created a dating App that was incredibly successful. HE moved back due to his uncle who helped him when growing up having a heart attack and to help the family business. Liam is extremely sexy but has a little self doubt about himself which for me as a reader was nice to see. as we don't always get to see this from the male perspective.
Macy is a young woman who had to grow up quick. her mother left her and her young sister when she was just in high school but Macy took on the role of parent. She works two jobs to pay her bills and struggles no matter what. BUT her past has affected her more than she realised and she keeps everyone at arms length so that they don't leave her.
This was a really lovely story to read and I cant wait to read more of Kara's work.
