This book follows the complicated journey of hunter and Meghan.
Hunter is known as the fixer. He owns club Limelight and many other legal and non legal businesses but people come to hunter to fix things. Hunter is a man you don't want to mess with but there is a side to hunter that no one gets to see. He is a man who has been hurt and is vulnerable because he doesn't want to feel that way again.
Meghan has moved across the country from Ohio to California. She has moved to get away from her mom and her dirty ogling step father. She wants to be happy and make a life for herself and finds that in waitressing at club limelight. What she doesn't expect is to see her boss blow someone's brains out and her to have a huge attraction to the mystery of hunter.
The connection these two have is undeniable and I enjoyed reading it however this book fell a little short for me. The back and Forth the characters had internally became frustrating at time and It bounced from one thing to another and stuff happened where I felt I needed to go back and question what I had read as it felt a little confusing. The story is a good story and I was hooked into wanting to know more. I look forward to reading more of Londons work.
