This was a gripping story that really takes you on a journey. Whenever you think that you have a grip on what's happening or has happened another twist comes in and throws you off.
Dante is the head of the Casa Nostra. His father is a ruthless peice of crap but Dante beneath the tough exterior and his dangerous reputation always does what is right and protects those he loves. So when his father sends him a job to return money owed the last thing Dante expects is to be attracted to the beautiful fiery women who's brother has very little care for.
Kat is a strong and fierce woman who has had a tough life. After her mom died her and brother only had each other to survive but whilst kat became. A better person and went into nursing her brother took it badly and went into gambling only his debts brought trouble to kat.
When Dante shows up mats worst nightmare becomes reality however what she worries is prison is actually a beautiful home with a man who she is epically lusting for and can't understand why.
Dante and it's connection is palpable from the beginning both fight it but once they come together their sexual desire for each other is seriously hot and sexy. But there are plenty of demons at work and Dante needs to figure it all out to protect his kitten and make his own life better.
I really enjoyed this story it was gripping and sexual and the characters were phenomenal. A great book an I can not wait to read more of Sadie's work.
