Wow what a book. This just ticked all the boxes for me. Comedy,romance,angst and emtion.
Chance is a hockey star who has been traded after punching his old captain but this man has been through it and has come out with some shitting emotional baggage to carry around. He lets his past affect his present when he first meets Gemma and she does not let him get away with it.
Gemma is a sweet girls how everyone loves but after their first meeting her and chance have such a hate hate relationship that they literally diss each other every time they are in each others company.
Their banter and bitching at each other is hilarious and the covenette really provide some hilarity throughout. These two have a love hate relationship that sizzles from the very beginning. I loved their vulnerable moments and everything about them. I was rooting for them from the beginning and was hooked.
I live this whole group and can not wait to read more from Alley Ciz.
