I have read this book as I was sent the 1st in the series and then needed to read this to know what the hell was happening after book 1 finished.
This book starts off where the first finishes the cliffhanger book 1 leaves us with is a shocker so this book starts were it finishes with Celia in her locked room after being sold at auction and a mystery person breaking in claiming to be her brother . Nic has a change of heart after the auction and decides he doesn’t want to give Celia up, he wants to keep her for himself and so sets off to get her from the room and return the money to the buyer but upon arrival to the room she is gone.
This book is fantastic it really is full of twists and turns at every point. You are kept on the edge of your seat with intensity throughout the book it’s fantastic.
