Thank you soo much to Greys Pr and Lea for sending me an ARC of this book.
*****Warning****** Get the Tissues at the Ready!!!!
This book was an absolute dream to read. It was such an easy read that kept you hooked from the very beginning.
Jonah is an American football player who was injured in play and pulls his MCL and ACL leaving him unsure of whether he will be able to play again. With him not knowing what the future holds he slipped into a depression of negative thinking and goes back to thinking he is not worthy of anything and is the same useless boy he viewed himself as when he was a teenager.
Callie was Reid's personal assistant, while she was at college and on graduating, was unsure of what the future held for her until Reid offered her the management job at Rebel the sports community he has built with Jonah and Chase. Callie lost her parents at a young age and now her grandad who has brought her up is slowly withering away from her due to Alzheimer's. Callie has lost the cheerful carefree girl she used to be and her confidence in herself has slowly gone with her as well.
The passion and rawness in both characters feelings truly are magical and the words literally pore off of the page. It is soo raw in places I could feel myself tearing up and just the vulnerability in both of them.
This was an incredible read and one I would suggest for anyone because this book helps show that your past is that your past but it is you who controls your future.
Lea this book was amazing and I loved every second I can not wait for more of your work.
