I loved this book. and was gripped from the very beginning. The story has soo much going on that you cant even guess what will happen next.
Fawn is an 18 year old who has had a traumatic life. She is confused and is looking for her father in the only way that her mother gave her before dying. When we meet Fawn she has just had another traumatic event unfold but cant remember the details of how it happened. She is 18 and pregnant.
Clay Butcher is the don of all dons. tall, imposing, Broody, sexy as hell and powerful as hell. He doesn't take chances in anything he does and is out for revenge for his brother. SO when Fawn comes along looking for her father, he sees his opportunity to exact that revenge. what he doesn't bet on is that the young women he takes in will break down his walls and make him feel things he never thought he could especially in the life he leads.
He is married to a women for business reasons. being the boss if the Casa Nostra and the Mayor he has his hands full but is always willing to protect what is his and Fawn soon becomes his.
This is an age gap romance, with plenty of spice and darkness to keep you reading and wanting to know more. the book was incredible I loved every single second of it but OMG that cliff-hanger has literally left me on the edge of my seat waiting with baited breath for book 2. Please Please Please Nicci can we have it soon........
