This is the second book to Clay and Fawns story and what a bloody ending. Nicci is master at the mafia. I would suggest you at least read the first book his pretty little burden and ideally have a catch up with all the other butcher Boys. trust me you will not regret it.

Whilst being the head of the casa nostra he is also the mayor adding to the list of things he needs to worry about. HIs release and light come from his beautiful little fawn. who turned up on his doorstep looking for her father only to find a man more dangerous because he stole her heart. What clay didnt count for was her stealing his.
Fawn is a 19-year-old girl in search of her father or so she thought. On finding clay she has become his and she loves it only she is struggling with the fact clay has a wife to the world and she feels like his dirty little secret. After the rape she had suffered at the hand of others in her past we see fawns struggle to trust herself and her body and it takes her love for clay and consuming him as much as he consumes her and her want to be his everything for her to finally learn to love and trust herself.
These two were a match made in heaven. they are both willing to go to the end of the earth for each other. willing to protect not only each other but also the whole of the butcher clan and this is non more evident than when Xavier is taken by fawns' father or when the truth of what clays mother did come to light.
These two have the sexiest sex i have read and you literally feel every single emotion, orgasm, touch, pain, love through the pages and words written.
Seriously this book is off the charts sexy, and boy do i want a clay butcher in my life after reading this. I need more Nicci this can't be it. pretty pleaseeeee..... Bring on Xaviers book
