Lavender Phantom By Lainey Delarouqe

Thank you to Affinity and Lainey for sending me a copy of this book to read.

Wow, this book totally took me by surprise. Honestly, I wasn't sure I wanted to read it when I first saw the promo but the more I saw the more I liked but on opening that first page and reading I was hooked. This book captures your attention from the very beginning and keeps you going on wanting to know more and more throughout.

Sophie is a strong woman who will do anything to protect her younger sister from the past that has haunted her since losing her parents. She works a full-time day job and then plays at the garden with her rope partners to take away some of the pain she feels and to help her regain herself.

When Sophie gets an unexpected text and call she has no idea what is going on and the fear of people-finder her and her sister keep her wanting to know more and to delve further into life at the lavender club.

The lavender club is no late evening tea room well not one like I have heard or seen and whilst here this is where Sophie gets her interaction with the Lavender Phantom. Damien is a strong mysterious gentleman and I love seeing both of their points of view the secrecy with the little notes was just brilliant, even though they didn't say much it felt like it was filled with soo much more.

I seriously can not wait for book 2 in this duet because this book really was a brilliant debut novel.
