Lay me Bare is the first book in the series and ends on a cliffhanger.
This is the first encounter we have with Eva, she is a single mom who has a heartbreaking past that she is running from not only for her but her child as well. She is soo strong and determined and this does come across quite well.
Will is a sexy, businessman who walks around knowing just how much women like him, but he is hiding a lot of secrets.
The instant attraction between these two characters was obvious to everyone including them and even though neither had the desire for any form of relationship they couldn't help but let their feelings run loose. Some of the sex scenes in this book were amazing and the storyline, in general, was a really good read.
My only critique for me was that in parts I felt a little disconnected from not only the characters but also the storyline in parts and I only mean in parts it became a little unrealistic and a little too predictable. for instance, every time Will wanted to distract Eva from answering more questions or wanting to know more he would touch or kiss her and she would just forget about it and for me, this just happened a little too often. But overall I enjoyed the story and couldn't wait to find out more.
Bared to you
This is the second book in the series and I was soo glad I had this right off the bat to continue from book 1.
This book is from Wills perspective and | absolutely loved it. This book made me seriously fall in love with him, as it shows his vulnerable side.
In this book, we find out more about his Honeytrap Business, and how Will used to be the best of the best in the honeytrap world. He never cared for others and used them to his advantage.
This book is all about the past coming back to haunt both him and Eva and seeing if they can trust each other enough to get through it all.
I absolutely loved this story and the development of both Eva and Will. I felt like I really connected with both characters and the story really does capture you and keep you hooked. There are soo many twists and turns and you are never actually sure of what may be.
I am soo glad I have book 3 as I don't think I could wait to find out what happens next.
