North is the second book in The Moral Compass Series.
When we first meet North he has just got over is shooting and is finally starting to get back to some sort of normal Life. He is living in the fortress with Kara. The women who he dreams about after having the most amazing connection with before he got shot.
Kara has had a tough life. After west and north saved Kara and Sutton from being sold at a human trafficking auction their life has been about staying safe until the people responsible are taken to trial. Living in the fortress with North has been hard. He hasn't shown her any sign that he has feelings for her like she does him since their incredible time together.
These two living together made them both hide their feelings for each other, hoping the other would give them a sign but once its all out there then there is no turning back. Their chemistry is strong but both don't fully show themselves until the very last minute. This had some seriously sexy scenes.
This was an enjoyable read with so many twists and turns. There is constantly something happening that throws a spanner in the works which kept me wanting to know more. My only critique for this book is that some of the major conversations or events we would of wanted to have read about were glossed over so you feel like you missed out on them. But the fast pace of this book and the continuing unravelling of events made really will keep you hooked.
