Picnic perfect is a part of the Kismet Cove singles week.
I must admit I struggled with this book. I found it quite slow, to begin with, but about 1/3rd of the way in I really got into it and enjoyed the story and the characters.
Warren is a man who works hard and knows he missing something in his life. after seeing his brother and sister-in-law and how happy their growing family life is, warren gets jealous and questions his own life. He takes a vacation from work and heads to California, To his surprise, his brother has set him up on a Singles week and it is nothing like he expected it to be.
Katy is a bit like warren all about work. After her friend convinces her to attend just ONE night of the singles week, Katy is less than impressed with taking time out, but to her surprise, a familiar face from her past appears and he is exactly the same if not more than she remembers.
The History of these two really feeds into the story and seeing how they evolve throughout was brilliant and kept me reading for a slice more of what they had to offer.
