Firstly let me say I am a huge Nikki Summers Fan and absolutely Loved the Sandland Series, so for me, I was truly excited to read Adams story.
This story is the first in the Soldiers of Anarchy series and Follows the Leader of the Soldiers Adam.
Adam is a strong leader, someone many people fear. he has had a troubled past through the foster system with bad foster parents who abused him and treated him very badly a school system that failed him and a hometown where even the cops were afraid to visit. deep down though there is a softness to adam a side that just wants to be noticed and loved. The second his eyes land on the beautiful Blonde after the fateful boxing match he is hooked and can not stay away. the feelings she sturs in him are feelings he has never felt ever but are soo addictive he can't walk away.
Liv is a girl who appears strong on the outside, she uses humour to deflect from what's going on in her life, She is always the first to put herself down so that no one has the chance to do it to her. Live has a hidden past and present. she is the fixer in all of her friends lives only they don't know it. she does things in the background and doesn't take any of the credit for it. She looks after ev eryone even her younger brothers as her parents are far too consumed with themselves to ven think about their children and in reality all Liv wants is to be loved and adored only the person willing to offer it is the person everybody hates and the person who has hurt her friends.
The chemistry between these two characters is undeniable from the very first insult that flies out of Livs mouth. Adam will not stop until he breaks down her walls and makes her his and Liv cant deny that there is something about him that calls to her.
I enjoyed this book and found it a good read. My critique would be that In the first few chapters I found myself skim reading as it just didn't draw me in right away. This could just be that I felt it was a little bit of a repeat of what I knew from the final sandland book but overall this was another great book from Nikki.
