Thank you, Brooklyn and affinity for sending me a copy of this book to read and review I was soo excited when it hit my emails.
This is the second book in the Righteous series and it seriously lived up to the first.
I am always sceptical as to whether a book can live up to how good the first is but this was amazing and kept me gripped throughout.
This is Arek's story and I think I may have found myself a new book boyfriend in him. WOW! he is charming sexy as hell and is a seriously dangerous alpha with many different sides to him.
Arek is brought into the Righteous because of his speciality in killing and his background in the military but from the moment his eyes land on Renee Dancing he can't take them off of her, it is as if he is just drawn to her and every moment we see them together in any way we see more levels of this man unravel.
Renee is a student and also a dancer who has had an awful upbringing. Dancing is the only way she can get enough money to look after herself and her brother especially after her mother disappears.
There are soo many twists, turns and dangerous characters that are just waiting for the right moment to strike and all of which will take you by surprise. AT times this book was terrifying (terrifyingly good) but all of it just added to how amazing this book was.
