Thank you to Valentine and Kristen for allowing me to read and review this book.
This is book 2 in the Heroes of the Big Sky series and was a book I really enjoyed reading.
In this, we follow Seth and Remi. Seth has had a challenging upbringing but after his mother dropped him off at his grandparents as a young boy because she didn't want him anymore, due to her addiction etc his life changed for the better. Set Loves the Montana Ranch and doesn't ever want to leave that is his home, his safe place, a place he feels loved and a place that Loves him.
Then we meet Remi, a young woman who is currently living in her camper van. She has had a life of being told what she can and can't do and is using this opportunity to do everything everyone has told her she can't. Whilst hiking she gets caught up in a snowstorm but luckily for her, Seth is there to save the day.
These two characters are like two lost souls who are just destined to meet and their story is very heartwarming and beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed reading how their story unfolded.
My only critique would be that in the beginning, we get to see a glimpse of his past with his mother but I just would have liked to have delved further into the trauma he experienced as a youngster as it felt a little forgotten about.
