This is the second book in the take me to church series and boy was it worth the wait.
We pick up pretty much where we left off in book 1 Luka is in the closet about his budding relationship with Harlan as he doesn't want to upset his family especially his step father who is a devoted Catholic.
For me this book was Harlan’s star and I absolutely loved getting to know the shy boy who prefers to hide away in the background. In this book he really came into his own and came out of his shell, mixing with other people etc. Finding more out about his past troubles and life with his family was both heartbreaking but also beautiful.
This book was an amazing read and I loved every minute. My only critique would be that in the beginning it was a little slow but once it got going i was hooked and could never guess what was going to happen next.
L.m.archer you have done an amazing job and truely should be proud of yourself we are extremely proud and excited for you.
