This is the first book in the Blackmore brothers series and boy is it a great starter.
The ride follows Brixton Blackmore the CEO of Pleasureland parks. He is known for being grumpy and unapproachable unless you want shouting at and possibly fired. In order for Braxton to take the next step in the business his parents who currently run the operations at pleasureland want him to become Bradley Bradshaw and work at the bottom of the pile within one of his parks to see how it is being run and what could be improved. They want him to speak to the staff and really connect with the buisness.
What neither he nor his family expects is for him to meet his match is beautiful women who is there for a marketing job after leaving her wedding after her fiancé cheated on her. But she is Braxtons match and also his cryptonite.
Grace is the cousin to the Mcgarrys (the compass series) she is their cousin. She is quiet yet strong and absolutely amazing at marketing. On her wedding day she finds out her partner had cheated on her the night before again and although she thought she could go through with it. Reality sinks in before she says I do and she calls it all off.
In trying to get over every part of her life she takes an interview in America but wants to do some investigative work on the company and the parks before she has her interview. What she doesn't expect is to have a few days of absolute pleasure and fun with the litter picker. But all her information gathered she gets the job but who is her boss?? This book was gripping, thrilling, sexy and at times god damn hilarious. Martina this was another amazing book and a great start to the new series. I seriously can not wait for more of the Blackmoors. Bring it on!!
