Well what can i say I am absolutely devastated that this book and these men have come to an end. This is an incredible book and series that literally has you on the edge of your seat with passion, steam, angst. its brilliant.
This story follows Xander the final Butcher Boy (crying here) Xander is the youngest of the Butchers, the one to follow in his fathers footsteps. He is the new Legend. After dropping out of Law school Xander went into boxing, a way to release his anger at his mother, at his brothers, at his father and at the world. When we first catch up with Xander he is at his mothers wake. He knows that Clay had a hand in her death and the fact that everyone tries to tell him what to do and not talk to him about anything frustrates him to no end.
Whilst out on a job teaching a young boy that his actions are not acceptable, he comes across a young women who holds his attention, but she is Feisty, spoilt and going through a lot herself.
Incomes Kaya Alana Lovit. Her father has been incarcerated for fraud among other things leaving her, her sisters and her mother to deal with all the upset. Their lives change in the blink of an eye and after her night and Xander's words of change and comfort Kaya is confused and lost.
After Xander saved her Sylvanian case and protected her from the media, he starts to open her feisty walls and he slowly creeps himself in. Only Kaya is impulsive and gets herself into a situation she wishes she could turn the clocks on. Kaya is a virgin and Xander once finding out respects her enough to not take advantage. they both want each other but fight the attraction only Xander doesn't give up and even when his life is in turmoil he turns to Kaya.
I absolutely loved this story it was heartfelt, emotional, sexy, HOT, angsty. I was literally on the edge of my seat throughout most of this book and the ending was just beautiful. I love all the Butchers and I loved seeing them all Raw in this story. These men are all holding onto their pain but they all want the best and look after each other its beautiful and Amazing.
