This book follows Luca, the star quater-back who had a troubled season and whose father is constantly riding his ass and belittling him forcing his own dreams onto his son. Luca has soo much bottled up and is soo lost in his anger and frustration that when his old bestfriend shows up at MKU all he can remember is the past and how betrayed he felt by her.
Peyton is one heck of a strong women. She comes back to MKU after her mother dies but she holds soo many secrets. She works to get as much money as possible and is always trying to make sure everyone is OK BUT one run in with Luca and all her old feelings come flooding back the love the anger the hurt everything yet she still manages to see the 15 year old boy that she fell in love with even after he treats her appallingly.
This story will take you on one heck of a journey and boy is it worth every single second. I could not put it down. I can not wait for more.
